About The Human Process
The Human Process is a nonprofit organization that has taught meditation in the Chicago area since 1974 and added Tai Chi in 1983. Its current in-person teaching location is St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Evanston, with additional live online classes available.
Tai Chi Classes
The curriculum centers on Yang-style short-form Tai Chi and includes Qigong, meditation, sensing hands and related practice. Current fall 2026 offerings include free introductory sessions, beginning classes, fundamentals and continuing classes in both live and Zoom formats.

Pricing
$150 for selected 10-week 2026 classes; free introductory sessions are also offered.
