California Rights

Effective Date: August 28, 2026

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

This California Rights Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of Tai Chi Hub USA and applies to California residents where applicable California law provides additional rights.

Tai Chi Hub USA operates TaiChiHubUSA.com, an online directory through which users may browse Tai Chi providers, create accounts, submit or claim listings, purchase paid listing services, subscribe to recurring plans, advertise, submit reviews, send inquiries, and use other directory-related services.

Nothing in this Notice is intended to limit any rights available to California consumers under applicable law.

1. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").

Where the CCPA applies, these rights may include:

Right to Know

You may have the right to request information regarding personal information we have collected about you, including:

  • categories of personal information collected;
  • specific pieces of personal information collected;
  • categories of sources from which information was collected;
  • purposes for collecting or using the information;
  • categories of third parties to whom information was disclosed; and
  • categories of personal information sold or shared, if applicable.

Right to Delete

You may request deletion of personal information that we collected from you, subject to exceptions permitted by law.

For example, we may be permitted or required to retain certain information to complete transactions, maintain security, detect fraud, comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or perform other legally permitted activities.

Right to Correct

You may request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained about you.

If your request concerns information appearing in a TaiChiHubUSA.com directory listing, please identify the specific listing and the information you believe should be corrected.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

Where applicable, California residents may have the right to direct a business not to sell or share their personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Tai Chi Hub USA does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

If our practices in the future constitute a sale or sharing of personal information under the CCPA, we will provide the notices and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Where applicable, California residents may have the right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.

Tai Chi Hub USA does not intentionally request sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for operating the Website.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through listing descriptions, reviews, contact forms, or other public Website features unless it is necessary and appropriate.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you because you exercise an applicable California privacy right.

Exercising a privacy right will not, by itself, result in unlawful denial of services, different pricing, reduced service quality, or other prohibited discriminatory treatment.

2. Public Directory Information

Tai Chi Hub USA is a public directory.

Some information displayed on TaiChiHubUSA.com may consist of business, professional, or other information obtained from publicly available sources.

This may include:

  • instructor or business names;
  • business addresses;
  • business telephone numbers;
  • business email addresses;
  • websites;
  • publicly available social profiles;
  • class schedules;
  • services offered;
  • pricing information;
  • photographs or logos;
  • ratings or review information; and
  • other publicly available professional or business information.

Certain publicly available information may not constitute personal information under the CCPA.

Claiming or requesting removal of a listing does not automatically require Tai Chi Hub USA to remove factual information that we are legally permitted to publish.

However, we will review legitimate privacy, accuracy, identity, and safety concerns.

3. Submitting a California Privacy Request

California privacy requests may be submitted to:

info@taichihubusa.com

Suggested subject line:

California Privacy Request

Please include enough information for us to understand your request.

Depending on the nature of the request, we may need to verify your identity before providing, correcting, or deleting information.

Verification may include confirming information reasonably associated with your account, email address, listing, or prior interaction with Tai Chi Hub USA.

We will not request more information than reasonably necessary to verify the request.

Where permitted by California law, you may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

We may request reasonable evidence that the agent has authority to act for you and may separately verify your identity where permitted by law.

4. California Subscription Rights

Tai Chi Hub USA may offer paid products and services including:

  • paid listing claims;
  • premium listings;
  • Featured listings;
  • Verified listing plans;
  • advertising plans;
  • sponsored placements;
  • recurring listing subscriptions;
  • premium profile features;
  • lead-related services; and
  • other paid directory services.

Some services may automatically renew until cancelled.

If a California consumer enrolls in an automatically renewing or continuous service, Tai Chi Hub USA will provide disclosures and cancellation rights required by applicable California law.

5. Automatic Renewal Disclosure

Before charging a California consumer for an automatically renewing service, material subscription terms will be presented in a clear and conspicuous manner as required by applicable law.

Depending on the offer, these terms may include:

  • subscription price;
  • billing frequency;
  • renewal period;
  • automatic renewal terms;
  • whether promotional or trial pricing applies;
  • when regular charges begin;
  • how to cancel; and
  • other material terms of the offer.

Where required, we will obtain affirmative consent to the automatic renewal or continuous service terms before charging the consumer.

6. Subscription Cancellation

California consumers will be provided with a reasonably accessible method to cancel an automatically renewing service.

Where a subscription was entered into online and California law requires online cancellation, an online cancellation method will be provided.

We will not intentionally design the cancellation process to create unreasonable barriers to cancellation.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewal charges.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in the applicable offer, cancellation does not automatically create a prorated refund for a billing period that has already begun.

After a paid subscription ends, features associated with that subscription may be removed.

Depending on the plan, this may include:

  • Featured status;
  • Verified status;
  • premium listing placement;
  • enhanced profile features;
  • promotional benefits;
  • premium account functionality; or
  • other subscription-specific features.

The underlying public directory listing may remain on TaiChiHubUSA.com where we are legally entitled to continue displaying it.

7. Renewal, Pricing, and Reminder Notices

Where required by California law, Tai Chi Hub USA may provide notices relating to:

  • upcoming renewals;
  • changes in subscription pricing;
  • changes in billing frequency;
  • expiring promotional pricing;
  • conversion from a free or discounted period to a paid subscription;
  • annual subscription reminders; and
  • cancellation instructions.

These notices may be delivered electronically using the contact information associated with your account or purchase.

It is your responsibility to maintain a current email address associated with your account.

8. Free and Discounted Trials

If Tai Chi Hub USA offers a free or discounted trial that later converts to a paid recurring subscription, the material terms of that conversion will be disclosed before enrollment.

Where required by California law, appropriate notice will be provided before qualifying free or discounted promotional periods convert to paid recurring services.

9. Paid Listing Claims

A paid listing claim may provide access to listing management or premium features.

Payment for a listing claim does not:

  • transfer ownership of TaiChiHubUSA.com;
  • transfer ownership of the directory page or URL;
  • transfer ownership of the Tai Chi Hub USA database;
  • prevent Tai Chi Hub USA from displaying publicly available factual information;
  • guarantee approval of a fraudulent or unauthorized claim;
  • guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, or customers; or
  • constitute an endorsement of the provider.

Claim approval may remain subject to verification of the claimant's authority to represent the business, instructor, school, organization, or provider.

10. Featured, Verified, and Sponsored Listings

Tai Chi Hub USA may offer paid Featured, Verified, Sponsored, Promoted, or similar listing features.

A paid designation does not mean Tai Chi Hub USA guarantees the provider's:

  • professional competence;
  • qualifications;
  • certifications;
  • safety;
  • licensing;
  • insurance;
  • teaching quality;
  • reputation; or
  • suitability for a particular person.

A Featured or Sponsored designation may primarily represent enhanced visibility or advertising placement.

A Verified designation means only that the applicable verification requirements established by Tai Chi Hub USA have been satisfied.

It does not constitute comprehensive professional certification or background screening unless specifically stated otherwise.

11. California Refund and Consumer Rights

Our Terms of Use may provide that certain payments are non-refundable after the applicable service has been activated or delivered.

However, nothing in our Terms of Use, refund policy, subscription terms, or this California Rights Notice is intended to eliminate any refund, cancellation, remedy, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under California law.

If mandatory California consumer law conflicts with one of our contractual terms, the applicable mandatory legal requirement will control to the extent of that conflict.

Billing errors, duplicate charges, or suspected unauthorized transactions may be reported to:

info@taichihubusa.com

12. Do Not Sell or Share

Tai Chi Hub USA does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

Where applicable California law defines certain advertising or data practices as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, California residents may have the right to opt out.

If Tai Chi Hub USA engages in practices requiring a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism under applicable law, we will provide the required notice and opt-out method.

We will also honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law.

13. Authorized Agents

A California resident may use an authorized agent to submit certain privacy requests where permitted by law.

We may require the agent to provide evidence of authorization.

We may also contact the consumer directly to verify identity or confirm that the agent has permission to act on the consumer's behalf, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Verification of Requests

To protect personal information from unauthorized disclosure or deletion, we may verify the identity of a person making a privacy request.

The information required for verification will depend on the request and the information associated with the individual.

We may decline or limit a request where we cannot reasonably verify identity, where an exception applies, or where applicable law permits us to do so.

15. Response to Requests

Where California privacy law applies, Tai Chi Hub USA will respond to valid privacy requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

If additional time is legally permitted and reasonably necessary, we may notify the requester of the extension.

We generally do not charge a fee for valid privacy requests unless applicable law allows a reasonable fee for requests that are excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

16. Financial Incentives

Tai Chi Hub USA may offer discounts, promotional pricing, loyalty benefits, premium features, or other commercial incentives.

If a program constitutes a financial incentive or price or service difference governed by California privacy law, we will provide any notice and consent required by applicable law before enrollment.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against California consumers for exercising their privacy rights.

17. Minors

Tai Chi Hub USA does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 in circumstances requiring affirmative authorization under California law.

TaiChiHubUSA.com is not designed as a service directed primarily toward children.

If you believe a minor's personal information has been handled improperly, contact:

info@taichihubusa.com

18. Changes to This Notice

We may update this California Rights Notice to reflect changes in:

  • California law;
  • regulatory requirements;
  • our privacy practices;
  • subscription practices;
  • Website functionality;
  • paid services; or
  • the services offered through TaiChiHubUSA.com.

When this Notice is updated, the revised version will be posted on TaiChiHubUSA.com and the "Last Updated" date will be changed.

Where required by applicable law, additional notice may be provided regarding material changes.

19. Relationship to Other Policies

This California Rights Notice supplements our:

  • Privacy Policy;
  • Terms of Use; and
  • any additional subscription, checkout, advertising, or paid-service terms presented through TaiChiHubUSA.com.

If applicable California law provides a right or protection that conflicts with these policies, the mandatory legal requirement will control to the extent required by law.
